Privacy at a glance
LifeFMEA has no internet permission, creates no account, and uses no advertising, analytics, tracking, or third-party data service. Data you enter stays on your device.
This privacy policy explains how VMGA (“we”) handles information in the LifeFMEA Android application.
Information you provide
LifeFMEA lets you enter goals, analyses, risks, causes, effects, safeguards, actions, dates, and notes. This information is stored locally in the app's private storage on your Android device. Your selected language, theme, and onboarding preference are also stored locally.
Information we collect or share
We do not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal information, user content, device identifiers, diagnostics, location, contacts, financial information, health information, or usage data. LifeFMEA does not include advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs and does not request internet access.
Notifications
If you choose to create an action reminder, LifeFMEA may request Android's notification permission. Reminder scheduling and notification content are processed locally on your device. You may deny or revoke notification permission in Android settings without losing the app's core features.
Backup, retention, and deletion
LifeFMEA excludes its app data from Android cloud backup and device-transfer backup. Your data remains on the device until you delete it. You can permanently remove all analyses, risks, actions, unfinished drafts, and scheduled reminders from LifeFMEA's Settings screen. Uninstalling LifeFMEA or clearing its storage in Android settings also removes local app data.
Security
LifeFMEA uses Android's private application storage and database protections. No method of local storage is guaranteed to be completely secure, so keep your device protected with an up-to-date operating system and a screen lock.
Children
LifeFMEA is a general planning tool intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children or other users.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when LifeFMEA's features or legal obligations change. We will update the effective date on this page and, when appropriate, provide notice in the app or store listing.
